My Visit to UK would have been incomplete without a visit to TGI Fridays . When somebody told me about the name of this restaurant chain I was quite fascinated about the name and after I visited the restaurant I became a fan.
This famous chain serves American style meals and the atmosphere in the restaurant is like that of a bar where people can enjoy them totally while they gorge on alcoholic drinks and proper meals.
The basic theme of the restaurant is red and white and the restaurant has traditional showpieces and brass railings which is the standard décor of the restaurant all over the world. Pictures and bicycles are also embellished on the walls.
When I reached the restaurant in Cardiff, one fine TGI Fridays evening, I noticed that it was pretty busy and I had not made a reservation earlier so I had to wait a while till I could get a table. While I was waiting I just checked the alcoholic drinks menu and I noticed it was fabulous. All kinds of drinks were available, be it rum, gin, vodka, or wine. I had heard a lot about the exquisite Cocktails of TGI Fridays.
In the mean time, a table was vacant and the courteous staff directed me to a table.
I ordered Jack Daniels chicken and boneless wings. Both the dishes were scrumptious and the service so fast that it was incredible. I was already happy to make the right choice of visiting this restaurant.
I ordered a sirloin steak as the main course it was served to me once my starters were done with. The steak was cooked really well and the best part was that the meat had hardly any fat content and that is exactly how I like to eat meat.
I was really full and was more than content with such a lovely meal. I had absolutely no room in my stomach for a dessert but the dessert menu was really tempting.
At the end when it was time to pay I was really happy that my meal cost a little below 20 pounds and hat was a good meal for the price.
I would definitely recommend this place to others and I intend to visit TGI Fridays at other locations around the world too.
